Medicare Rebates

For clients with a referral and a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP (or Psychiatrist or Pediatrician), a Medicare rebate of $145.25 can be claimed for 6 sessions initially with a clinical psychologist, $98.95 with a psychologist  or $87.25 with a Mental Health Social Worker. If appropriate, a review by your GP may result in an additional 4 sessions. A maximum of 10 sessions may be claimed in a calendar year. It is recommended that you discuss your eligibility for a referral with your GP before you make an appointment to see one of our Psychologists. With the Medicare rebate, the out of pocket cost (for appointments within office hours) is $101.50 per consultation with a psychologist and $102.75 with a Mental Health Social Worker.

Private Health

Private health insurers may also rebate part of the cost of consultations but cannot be used in conjunction with a Mental Health Care Plan. Contact your health insurance provider for further information.

Cancellation fees 

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we respectfully request at least 48 hours notice. This allows our administration staff adequate time to offer your appointment to another client on our waitlist.

Any cancellation or reschedule made with less than 24 hours notice will result in a cancellation fee of $100, this must be paid before your next session.

No Shows AND/OR Late cancellations (Less than 12 hours notice) will result in a cancellation fee of $200 for a Psychologist and $190 for a Mental Health Social Worker, this must be paid before your next session.
